Project Overview

CaTECH Systems was selected as the national AV consulting and integration partner to support the build-out of a new Montreal office for a leading global consulting firm—a continuation of our long-standing partnership across Canada.

Working closely with the client’s Digital Workplace Solution Architect and Corporate Real Estate team, our AV design specialists engineered a suite of modern collaboration spaces tailored for hybrid work environments.



This comprehensive deployment featured 24 small- to medium-sized video conferencing rooms equipped with HP Poly Hubs, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Extron Control Systems, and Cisco and Samsung LED displays—ensuring seamless connectivity and intuitive collaboration experiences.

Challenges

• Developing flexible AV room configuration that could easily shift between small-team huddles and large-scale town hall sessions. 

• Ensuring interoperability across multiple platforms (Microsoft Teams, WebEx Cisco) in a unified workspace. 

• Coordinating multiple systems integration—including sound masking, occupancy sensors, and IT cabling—on a tight timeline, with zero disruption to stakeholder expectations.

Solutions

CaTECH’s dedicated AV and IT infrastructure team created a custom AV room design that exceeded Accenture’s conferencing requirements, including:

- Smart dual-room design with custom control AV technology to convert two separate VC rooms into one unified town hall environment. 

- Sound masking systems for enhanced acoustic privacy and a better meeting experience. 

- Full IT infrastructure cabling, designed and deployed in tandem with AV systems for streamlined efficiency.

- With a dedicated Project Manager, we coordinated all stakeholders and service lines to ensure timely delivery, proper system handoffs, and cohesive end-to-end deployment.
