Scott Forrestall is the founder and president of CaTECH Systems, an industry leader in IT infrastructure solutions. A trained electrician by trade, Scott’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1989, sparked by a blend of necessity, intuition, and determination.
Initially preparing to join Rogers as an in-house electrician, Scott’s plans shifted when the opportunity fell through. Undeterred, he took swift action—enrolling in fiber optic courses and reaching back out to Rogers, offering his services for tasks their in-house electricians couldn’t handle. This resourceful pivot marked the humble beginnings of CaTECH.
Starting with a small team, Scott grew the business organically, driven by client demand and his natural gift for customer relations. Today, CaTECH stands as a testament to that steady, people-first approach, having evolved into a trusted name in IT infrastructure over the decades.
Scott’s ability to connect with people and build meaningful relationships has been the cornerstone of CaTECH’s success. Though he began as an electrician, he quickly discovered his knack for business and customer interaction, seamlessly blending technical expertise with outstanding client service. Surrounding himself with top talent, he ensured the company could meet ever-evolving demands while maintaining its high standards.
Outside of work, Scott is known as a people-oriented individual with a love for adventure. When he’s not leading the business, you’ll find him on the golf course or traveling the world in search of new experiences. A dedicated philanthropist, Scott values giving back to the community that has supported him throughout his journey.

Cathy Forrestall is the Executive Vice President of CaTECH Systems, bringing decades of experience in leadership and sales to the forefront of the company’s success. With early roots in Halifax, Cathy’s academic journey took her to the University of Ottawa, where she earned a major in History and a minor in Economics.
Her career began at Xerox, where she spent 10 years excelling in sales and management. She was one of the top sales representatives for five consecutive years. Cathy later transitioned into leadership, running specialized programs for the “Bay Street Documents” and “Butterfly Business” Xerox-authorized agencies.
After meeting her husband, Scott Forrestall, Cathy joined CaTECH Systems to lead the marketing efforts, though her passion for sales soon saw her transitioning into the sales arena where managed the sales team for five years before becoming Executive Vice President, a position she has held for the past decade. In this role, Cathy combines her strategic mindset and operational expertise to guide the company through sustained growth and market evolution.
Cathy’s life outside of work is as dynamic as her professional career. A competitive runner in her youth, she has been involved in sports throughout her life, excelling in volleyball and basketball. Her love of travel and deep connection to animals further reflect her personality. Like Scott, Cathy is dedicated to giving back and shares his philanthropic values, contributing actively to causes that matter to them both.

Nick Diakopoulos is the Vice President of Operations at CaTECH Systems, bringing over two decades of expertise in managing large-scale projects and optimizing operations in the tech industry. With a rich international background, Nick grew up in Toronto, Canada, before moving to Greece at a young age. He later returned to Canada to pursue higher education, earning associate degrees in International Business and Computer Studies, as well as a diploma in teaching English as a second language from the University of Michigan.
Since joining CaTECH Systems in 2001, Nick has advanced through multiple roles in the operations division, demonstrating exceptional leadership and strategic acumen. In his current role, he oversees multimillion-dollar projects, leveraging agile and waterfall methodologies to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Nick’s expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has been pivotal in driving process enhancements and reinforcing CaTECH’s competitive edge in IT infrastructure and technology solutions.
A seasoned professional, Nick is highly regarded for his meticulous approach to risk mitigation and his ability to deliver results on complex projects. His contributions have earned accolades from clients and colleagues alike. Outside of work, Nick enjoys traveling and engaging in sports with his kids. Based in Burlington, Ontario, he is an active member of BICSI, PMI, and the International Society of Business Leaders. A passionate advocate for diversity in technology, Nick continually works to foster inclusive environments that drive innovation and collaboration.

With over 27 years of industry experience, Rick Pinho is a results-driven executive known for working with high-performing teams, driving strategic growth, and delivering consistent revenue success.
His career spans diverse roles within the telecommunications industry. He began his career in procurement and program management, where he honed his skills in cost negotiations and established strategic partnerships with vendors—laying a strong foundation for his transition into sales.
Rick’s professional growth has been shaped by the privilege of working alongside creative and visionary CEO’s who inspired and challenged him in his journey. Their mentorship and leadership fueled his passion for success and sharpened his strategic thinking, and reinforced his commitment to excellence.
He completed an Electronics Engineering Technology program from Humber College, which provided a strong technical foundation that complements his strategic and analytical approach.
Rick’s leadership is grounded in a data-informed, customer-first approach, empowering teams to exceed expectations while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
His expertise includes enterprise sales, B2B strategy, and market expansion, with a proven track record of driving multimillion-dollar growth.

Kris Currier is the Western Canadian Branch Director for our company, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to his role. With 15 years of dedicated service, Kris has been instrumental in shaping the company’s growth across the region. His journey began as a technician, where he honed his technical skills over the course of six years. Kris then transitioned to the role of Edmonton Branch Manager, where he led his team for four years, driving operational success and fostering strong client relationships. In 2023, Kris embraced a new adventure by relocating to Vancouver, where he continues to lead with vision and determination.
Now in his fifth year as Western Canadian Branch Director, Kris is committed to elevating the company’s presence and performance across the region. His leadership style is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a hands-on approach, allowing him to connect with teams at every level. Kris takes pride in mentoring his team, cultivating an environment that promotes growth, accountability, and continuous improvement. His diverse experience and ability to adapt to new challenges make him a key asset to our company’s success.
Outside of work, Kris is passionate about personal growth and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. He practices breathwork, teaches Muay Thai kickboxing, and enjoys mountain biking to stay active and energized. A graduate of the Music Industry Arts and Digital Applications program from Fanshawe College, Ken’s passion for sound engineering and AV technology was evident early on. His dedication in school earned him the prestigious Studio 306 Student Scholarship, recognizing his commitment to excellence in studio work.
Ken began his career at Wanted! Sound + Pictures, spending eight years as a recording engineer, mixer, and studio designer while also managing the IT infrastructure. His transition into AV and technology deepened during his seven years at Crestron Electronics Canada, where he held multiple roles—ranging from True Blue technical support and solutions engineering to sales for the consulting and education markets.
This diverse background provided Ken with a deep understanding of both the technical and business aspects of the AV industry. Since joining CaTECH Systems, Ken has played a key role in the company’s AV division. Initially working as a AV Design Specialist, his expertise quickly propelled him into the Director of AV role.
Today, he leads the team in crafting innovative AV solutions that enhance communication and collaboration for clients. Outside of work, Ken has a passion for hockey, having served as a director and coach for youth hockey programs in the Mississauga Hockey League and GTHL, guiding young athletes at both A and AA levels.
He’s also an outdoor enthusiast, often found fishing, camping with his family, or embarking on solo canoe trips through Algonquin Park’s backcountry.

Janet Allen is the HR Manager at CaTECH Systems, bringing over 20 years of expertise in human resources, payroll, and benefits administration. Janet’s journey into HR began with a unique blend of business and education. While managing a Hallmark Canada store early in her career, she pursued her HR designation by attending evening classes at Seneca College. Along the way, she also earned a Marketing diploma from Durham College, further enriching her business acumen.
Her dedication and drive soon opened new doors, allowing Janet to transition into an HR role at Hallmark Canada, where she specialized in pensions and benefits. With a passion for supporting people and creating positive workplace experiences, she eventually joined CaTECH Systems, where she wears many hats managing everything from recruitment and employee engagement to payroll and benefits programs. Janet’s well-rounded expertise ensures CaTECH runs smoothly and its employees feel valued and supported.
Outside of the office, Janet is an outdoor enthusiast who loves nothing more than camping and hiking. Algonquin Park holds a special place in her heart, and she can often be found exploring its many trails with her husband and their dog, named after one of her favorite routes in the park. When she’s not outdoors, Janet enjoys devouring books and crafting thoughtful cross-stitch gifts for family and friends.

ENZO BORDONE

With over three decades of hands-on experience in the Electrical/ Telecom industry, Enzo Bordone leads CaTECH’s Electrical & Strategic Accounts Division. With a focus on excellence and efficiency, Enzo makes nurturing positive and long-term client relationships his number one priority. A licensed Master Electrician and seasoned leader, Enzo began his career after studying electronics and electrical systems. He completed his apprenticeship with Netricom Inc, where he spent 15 years honing his craft before moving into leadership roles including Service Manager, Project Manager, and Operations Manager.
The year 2025, marks a milestone for Enzo, who joined CaTECH 25 years ago. Since then he has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s reputation & multi services. Rising from Project Manager to Operations Manager, and now Vice President of Electrical and Strategic Account, his journey reflects a consistent commitment to growth, mentorship, and strategic impact based on growing long-term mutually positive and loyal business relationships . He was also instrumental in CaTECH becoming a certified electrical contractor in 2008 by obtaining the Master Electrician designation to fulfill requirements with the Authority ESA—an achievement that continues to benefit the company's licensing and operational capabilities.
Enzo’s leadership style is rooted in relationships. Whether designing and working with SMEs on complex full turn key solutions including IT, AV, Communications & Electrical; or managing CaTECH’s most complex and valuable long-term accounts, his goal is simple, yet powerful: deliver such exceptional service that clients keep coming back. He leads by example, fostering a culture of hard work, integrity, and long-term collaboration. Outside of work, Enzo enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, playing golf and social networking.

Eastern Canadian Branch Director
JAMES HYNES

With over 21 years of experience in telecommunications industry—including 16 years at CaTECH Systems Ltd.—James Hynes leads as Eastern Canada Branch Director, overseeing regional operations, strategic initiatives, and the delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
Beginning his career as a field technician, James developed extensive expertise in copper and fiber optic cabling, which laid the foundation for his advancement into project management and senior leadership. He is fully versed in TIA standards, with a focus on:
• ANSI/TIA-568 – Structured cabling systems for commercial buildings
• ANSI/TIA-942 – Telecommunications infrastructure for data centers
James holds certifications in project management and manufacturer product certifications from Panduit, Belden, and CommScope. He is committed to delivering high-quality, standards- compliant telecommunications solutions and excels in teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Outside of his working career, James is a proud husband and family man. His enjoyments include outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing, and he can often be found at the local football fields supporting community teams.

Miranda resides north of the city in Kleinburg, Ontario, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Her studies continued in the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) program, bringing both academic insight and professional rigor to her financial leadership.
From a young age, Miranda assumed financial responsibilities for her family and extended family—a formative experience that sparked her lifelong passion for financial clarity, discipline, and service. These early lessons shaped the foundation of her career and continue to influence her approach today.
Prior to joining CaTECH Systems, Miranda built a strong financial track record at Cadillac Fairview, where she spent six years as a Revenue Analyst managing a national portfolio of shopping centres. She then advanced to become Controller for one of Canada’s largest restaurant franchise groups, overseeing the financial operations of 15 locations.
Miranda joined CaTECH over eight years ago as Controller and has since played a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and supporting sustainable growth. Her core responsibilities include preparing and managing financial statements, maintaining robust internal controls, leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, and overseeing all facets of accounting operations—from payroll to cash flow strategy.
Beyond the numbers, Miranda is a trusted leader whose impact extends across the organization. Her strategic insight and financial stewardship help lay the groundwork for CaTECH’s innovation, growth, and long-term success.
Outside of work, Miranda enjoys cycling and cooking—activities that reflect her balanced, hands-on, and thoughtful approach to both life and leadership.

Faizan Osman

Faizan Osman brings more than 15 years of experience in mission-critical systems, enterprise networking, IoT deployments, and technology as a whole to his role as Director of ICAT Services at CaTECH Systems. With a passion for technology, problem-solving, and people, he has led projects that bridge complex networks, mission-critical systems, and emerging IoT technologies — always with a focus on creating smarter, more connected environments for clients across Canada.
A highlight of Faizan’s career was guiding a major P3 hospital project, where he oversaw the integration of multiple networks, IoT systems, and security technologies into a single resilient infrastructure that met the highest compliance standards. He also led large-scale data centre consolidations across North America, streamlining enterprise operations and strengthening both efficiency and security. Beyond healthcare and enterprise, his work spans national retail and distribution deployments, where he has built secure and scalable technology frameworks to support evolving business needs.
At CaTECH Systems, Faizan is driven by more than just technology — he is committed to building lasting client partnerships, mentoring high-performing teams, and supporting the long-term growth of both the company and its people. His leadership style combines technical expertise with a genuine dedication to helping others succeed.
Outside of work, Faizan spends the majority of his spare time with his wife and daughter. He also has a passion for aquatics and fish keeping — whether maintaining saltwater ecosystems, breeding African cichlids, or raising rare species, he approaches his hobby with the same care and attention to detail that he brings to his professional life.
