Special Recognition : Dan Savage (Markham)
Some contributions are so impactful that they deserve special acknowledgement and this year, that honour goes to Dan Savage.
Dan is often the last line of defense before AV projects are turned over to clients, ensuring systems not only work—but work intuitively and flawlessly.
Here's what Ken Fournier, Director of Audio Visual has to say: "Dan is often the final component that makes our AV projects work—the last line of defense before a room is turned over, and sometimes the only line of defense between the customer and the technology.
While Dan handles all kinds of technical challenges, his real value lies in his ability to make everyone around him better. Whether he’s raising installation standards, reviewing designs for best practices, or taking the time to step back and look at everything from a fresh perspective, Dan has a unique way of resetting the thought process and uncovering ideas others may not have considered. It’s not always easy or fast, but it’s always the right call—and his teammates respect and trust that.
Anyone can be technical, but very few can lead, make technology seem effortless, spark genuine interest in learning, and have the patience to teach others along the way. That’s what sets Dan apart, and why we recognize him today."
Thank you, Dan, for redefining what excellence looks like.
