CaTECH Systems Announces First-Ever U.S. Acquisition, Expanding Its U.S. Presence with Envision Technology Group

August 19, 2026

Markham, ON and Overland Park, KS August 19, 2026 CaTECH Systems (“CaTECH” or the “Company”), a leading provider of integrated infrastructure services across Canada, is proud to announce the acquisition of Envision Technology Group (“Envision”), a leading Overland Park-based provider of critical infrastructure technology services serving data center, industrial, educational, and other critical infrastructure customers throughout the broader United States market. The transaction marks a transformative milestone in the Company’s growth story, accelerating the establishment of a meaningful U.S. presence and bringing together two highly complementary organizations with shared service capabilities, operating philosophies and customer-focused cultures.

Founders Dave Borth and Todd Sattman will continue to lead Envision as CaTECH’s U.S. division, providing CaTECH with an established platform from which to expand its reach across the U.S. and pursue opportunities across a diverse range of commercial end markets. The acquisition is strongly accretive and pairs CaTECH’s growing data center service offering and customer relationships with Envision’s experienced workforce, national delivery capabilities and infrastructure, creating a stronger North American platform with the scale, capabilities and geographic reach to serve customers’ critical infrastructure needs across both the U.S. and Canada.

Founded in 2010 by Dave Borth and Todd Sattman, Envision provides design, estimating, project management, and installation services for low-voltage technology infrastructure across U.S. commercial projects, spanning data and telecommunications distribution, security and access control, life safety systems, and audiovisual / intercom. Envision is positioned as a specialty systems partner for complex commercial projects, supported by RCDD, BICSI, and NICET-certified personnel.

“This acquisition represents a truly historic moment for CaTECH Systems,” said Nick Diakopoulos, President and CEO. “This is more than a business transaction — it’s a defining step in our company’s journey. What drew us to Envision Technology Group was their people, their vision and drive stood out immediately, and we knew they would be the right partner to help us take this next step. By bringing Envision Technology Group into the CaTECH family, we’re not only expanding our footprint into the United States, but also strengthening our overall capabilities and positioning ourselves to better serve our customers on a global scale. This is an exciting moment for our team, our partners, and everyone who has supported us along the way.”

“We’re incredibly excited to begin this next chapter with CaTECH,” said Dave Borth, Co-Founder and President of Envision Technology Group. “From our earliest conversations, it was clear that CaTECH shares the same values that have shaped Envision from the beginning — taking care of our people, delivering exceptional service and building lasting customer relationships. Together, we have an exciting opportunity to broaden our capabilities and better serve customers across both the U.S. and Canada.” Todd Sattman, Co-Founder and Treasurer of Envision, added, “This partnership gives our team additional resources and opportunities to grow while preserving the culture and customer-first approach that have always been central to Envision. We’re proud of what we’ve built and excited for what comes next.”

With this acquisition, CaTECH Systems establishes a stronger foothold in the U.S. market through its new Kansas City base, while marking the beginning of a new chapter in the company’s long-term growth trajectory. CaTECH looks forward to welcoming the Envision Technology Group team and building on this momentum together.

CaTECH Systems extends its sincere gratitude to Westview Capital Partners for their invaluable support and guidance throughout the acquisition process, as well as to National Bank of Canada for their support in financing the transaction. Their partnership was instrumental in helping bring this landmark deal to a successful close.
